| In
the summer of 2000, we worked in cooperation with the Water
Corporation of Western Australia to adapt our software
for Australia. Aside from accepting international dates, and using
the metric system, new forms were created in accordance with the
terminology, backflow testing procedures and regulations used throughout
the country. We also obtained permission from Quality Assurance
Service (QAS), a subsidiary of Standards Australia,
to include a list of QAS backflow prevention devices with our software.
BPMS Software is proud to announce
its association with Cross-Connection Solutions,
a company specializing in the delivery of solutions for the backflow
prevention industry in Australia and New Zealand.
Our associates Murray Ellis of Auckland, New Zealand
and Jeff Parsonage of Rowville, Victoria in Australia are among

BPMS Software is working with
Jeff and Murray - and its customers across the region - to adapt
its backflow software to meet the requirements. While there are
many similarities with North American practices, the plumbing
regulations, certification and terminology need special considerations.
We hope that our comprehensive,
yet affordable, software solutions will encourage more water purveyors
down under to adopt a cross-connection control program as part
of a proper maintenance of water distribution systems.
